Vinos Alicante PDO at Fenavin 2015

Vinos Alicante PDO at Fenavin 2015

Vinos Alicante PDO will once again be attending the 2015 National Wine Fair being held in Ciudad Real from 11 to 14 May. This is a great opportunity for meeting buyers and the specialist press at this major event for Spanish wines, which has earned itself a reputation for being the most influential fair for the sector in Spain.

The Alicante Designation of Origin will be based in Pavilion 7 (Ganímedes), Street 17, Stand 18 with a group of wineries representing the region’s latest generation of wine producers. They will include: Finca Collado, making its début with a new red wine produced from Monastrell grapes. La Bodega de Pinoso, with its extensive repertoire of wines, including White, Rosé, Crianza and new 2015 vintage wines. Vins del Comtat will also be launching a brand new Monastrell wine plus new Muscat labels. Vivanza is expected to attend with new red vintages and a series of new white wines. Vinessens will be displaying its vintages for “Sein” and “El Telar” and the brand new “La Casita del Abuelo”. Plus MG Wines will be including new wines from Finca Lagunilla as well as Monastrell and Garnacha wines from Sierra Salinas. A group of 7 wineries that represent current winemaking trends, a top quality profile and the excellent vintage in this PDO, voted the “Most Valued Region in Spain 2015” by readers of the Guia Peñin.

The fair also features wines from other wineries who either attend independently or as part of group stands. This is the case of Bocopa (Pavilion 7, Stand 20m 9 bis), Bodegas Mendoza (Pavilion 1, Stand 3-7), Heretat de Cesilia, (Pavilion 7, Stand 19-4), Francisco Gómez (Pavilion 7, Stand 20-11), Bodegas Volver (Pavilion 1, Stand 1-20), Murviedro (Pavilion 3, Stand 5-8), Bodegas Gandia (Pavilion 7, Stand 19-6), wineries with their own individual and distinctive character, beautifully expressed in all the wines they produce under the Vinos Alicante PDO.
